What is YOUR Future Worth?

In Life Changing Moments on 08/07/2010 at 7:48 pm

As kids we grow up and dream of what our lives will be, with ideas of traveling, changing the world, making a difference. But what happened?

Maybe it was the economy, or decisions we made or maybe it was lack of  skill.  What ever it was we grew up and life happened.  Those dreams turned into things we never thought they would be.  Some of us became bitter and gave up.  But what about you?  When you look at the life you created how do you feel?  Have you done what you set out to?  Maybe you have done more? What is your passion or do yo have a passion?  Did you become indifferent and need now to  find something that stirs that fire inside of you again.

I know I got stuck in that rut, but as we have heard before a rut is only a grave with the ends knocked out.  I knew when that happened to me I had to change!  I knew I had to grab a hold of the change that was going on in my life and take it as far as I could.   Who is the person changing your future?  Is your future worth changing for?

Change some people fear it, some people hate it, others grab and take a hold of it.  What do you do?  Are you going to be happy at the end of your life when you see the results?  Change will happen, what you do with that change will determine what the change will do with you. Only you can determine what you are willing to do create  and what the future you want. No change and everything stays the same.

Is YOUR future worth changing?

Changing your actions – doing something you have never done before

Changing your skill set – Learning a skill that you have no experience in

Changing you mind set – seeing the world and yourself from and new light

Change by letting go of the past – It impossible to steer looking in the rear view mirror unless you are going backwards.

Changing by starting something new – taking on a new challenge a new passion or a new opportunity. I have learned if I don’t take a risk there is NO reward to come.

What is your future worth?  Only you can answer that question. Time will not slow up because we can not figure out what to do.  Time will go on and people will change.  The question I have for you is what is your future worth?

Is it worth giving up?

Not doing anything?

Hiding in a cave?

Doing exactly what you are doing now?

IF your future is worth more than that and you are tired of not riding change for all its worth.  Your success is only one action away that is the action we make this moment.   I have found that it takes more than just a desire to change, but if the desire is not there nothing will change! So what do you desire? What is your passion?

I don’t know about you, but I want to take the change going on and ride it as far as it will go. Creating the future and the future my family deserves and needs.  I would never leave that in the hands of a job or a government when I know there is more than I can do to create the future we all need

Its Time to Stop the Failure Cycle.

In mindset, personal growth on 06/01/2010 at 3:05 pm

Can we do anything to stop the failure cycle in our homes and in our country?

Most families in our country train their kids and themselves to have failure after failure.

We are afraid to change when we should be afraid to stay the same. We watch thousands of hours of TV, and never have time to have real honest relationships.   I am not ok with that.   Neither should you.  There are things you can change today to do something different to get rid of the failure cycle that is going on in your home.

Success is obtainable – success does not look like what everyone thinks it does.

But I can not do it for you.  You must make the decision and change how your home is being run. You must make the decision to change how your life is being run.  You must make the decision to change how your business is being run.

What is that one thing that you can change today?  See what 98% of people are doing and do the opposite.   When you see everyone else sits all the time on video games, get off of it.  When most people are watching TV all the time and never have time for family, turn the tube off.

When it’s obvious to you and me that most people are doing anything… we should … STOP THAT ACTION!

Action is the only thing that will stop you from being exactly like everyone else.

Action will take you to place that most people will never see

Action is the one thing will change your results.

2% of people are willing to do what others won’t and they will have what others won’t

Do you know what a 2% looks like.  We have some amazing 2%s on our team!  Jacque is an amazing 2% she was tired of having allergies run the way she lived her life and new she need to find a way to change that.  She found a product, a system a team that would help her change that.  After 5 days her allergies were gone, so much that she spent an entire day doing yard work and sneezed 2 times the whole day.

Bob M who saw that his health was not what he wanted it to be. His blood sugar was not working for him, and he took action. Now his blood sugar is normalizing and he has more energy and feeling better everyday.  He is an amazing 2% who is willing to do what others won’t.

Jodi S who saw a need in the home based industry to put together a team of 2% who knows what it takes to be successful and a system that would allow anyone to change their life, along with product that is undupplicateable. Now the team is helping lots of people become 2% and changing their lives in multiple areas.

What about you?  Are you going to keep doing what you are doing and never change anything or are you afraid of staying the same?!

To Thrive or Not to Thrive That is the Question!

In Communication, Entrepreneurship, personal growth, seasons of life, Thriving on 05/10/2010 at 4:53 pm

One of the most popular shows on TV is Lost, it has a picture of survival so vividly, so extreme. People who are running from one disaster to the next. I am sure I don’t have to explain the show to you. Most likely you are one of the millions who watches the show every single week that it is on. I have not been an avid fan of Lost although I have watched one or two episodes. The acting is really good. I just can not regularly watch a show called LOST. But that is whole different blog planned for the future.

Survival is a great thing. Having the ability to be strong in times of adversity is very important. But seriously the question is relived. What is the difference in thriving vs surviving? It is very simple. The problem is that it is so simple that we often over look the answer.

I see people all around me who survive very well. They barely make the rent and have no idea how they are going to pay next months. That is simply not thriving in my book. You can look at two people they way they live. They make the same amount of money have very similar life styles yet one thrives and the other survives. What is the difference? What choices are being made that make such a large difference in the way they live life on a daily basis. How can we all make new choices today to change our lives from survival mode into truly thriving?

  1. Desire – the want to. As my coach and mentor Dani Johnson has so often said. I will take desire over skill every day. Desire is the one thing and moves you. Motivation only lasts so long desire with in your soul can not be replaced or faked. Developing a desire to change your life and lives of others around you can developed and it must be for long term change.
  1. Skill – I am often amused at people who go around the Internet broadcasting they can help build other people businesses or incomes with out the other person doing anything. Really seriously are you crazy? If you really looking for long term change, you must grow and develop skill. When you were a kid you first had to learn basic skills to get to the point where you could attend school. Then you grew up continued your education but what every it was that you did you had to learn something. You had to have a mentor, teacher or coach who would help you learn because they had the skill. In life and business we often stop learning and start settling. Taking on a new skill to get new results is very important.
  2. Relationships- Having the right people in your life is as important if not more than having even desire. The people we surround ourselves with help us keep our focus or not, shape the way we view the world and ourselves. In the Bible the original success book says Iron sharpens Iron, it also talks about how we are not to be unequally yoked in business, friendships and marriage. The mindset of those closet to you will help or hender you. The choice is up too you. Having the right team of people around you will help you change your life.
  3. Systems – You ask me what systems will do for me. Another way to think of system is planning. It takes all most everything out of the what if. You will never know exactly what is going to happen. But if you know what you are going to do if something similar to this happens then you have a system. Are you looking to change your life, your business, your income, your family. Changing how do things will change your results. Knowing that you operate out of the desire, skills, relationships and systems that you have in place will allow you to know what areas to work on. If you don’t know what you are going to do. Survival mode will kick in and you will start digging yourself a hole that could the a trap for the rest of your life.

Now its your choice what are you going to do?  Are you happy surviving or are you going to make the changes that will help you take life to next level?  Are you serous?  We are actively seeking qualified individuals who are looking for change today?  go to www. 2percenters.com

Are You Your Own BEST Competition?

In Competition, Economic Growth, mindset on 02/11/2010 at 3:58 pm

1. Does your customer service set you apart?

Customer service is more than saying hello when a client enters your doors, or calls you on the phone. Customer service is a mindset that allows a business to be filled with friends and not just clients. It helps you be the place that people want to return to and not one they remember to forget. Customer service is the difference in always picking you first, not because of price, but because they know you will do them right no matter what. Do your clients feel this way?

2. Are you working in your business or on your business?

There  can be confusion on what it takes to create the success in business.  Being busy is not always a sign of success. We can be busy doing things that will never create the business you want.  Knowing the difference in being busy for busy’s sake or actually doing those very important actions that will change our results.   Those actions can be  an unknown or not understood.  Working in your business vs. working on your business.  What is it you are working on?  What are the results?  How will it change the health and growth of your business?

3. Do you know what risks your business has, and what way you can turn it into a reward?

Owning your own business can be fun and rewarding. On the other hand, if you don’t see the risks that you have and change them, it can cost you not only your business but it can create a complete financial breakdown. Most business owners don’t have the expertise to know what to look for in many areas from hiring to taxes.  Do you?

4. Why are you in business?

The idea of being in business can be exciting. But how long ago was that? So do you remember why you got in business? Has the everyday pressure of making the bills go away changed your reason?  Are you just working on making money and not caring about those people who you are serving?

Wouldn’t it be great to own the business you wanted and not the one you got stuck with?

5. Do you have a system that will get your business to where you want it to be ?

Most business owners got in business because they have a passion for something they love but have no idea what it takes to be successful.  Having the system that will take you from ground zero to blast off seems hard to find.  So, what should you do to find it?  Would it be worth having that system and having the ability to know what to do each day and doing it?

Remember, doing the right thing the wrong way, still makes it wrong.

What are you doing today?

6. Are you using all the resources that you have to make your business more profitable?

Every single one of us has resources that are known and resources that are unknown.   Using these resources correctly will change the results we have.  Know what makes the most impact on your business and who else is on your team that can do things you don’t want to or don’t have the skills for.  Make sure the investments you are making into your business are the right ones that will have a greater ROI.   Don’t let the bank dictate what you can and can not do to grow your business.

7. Do you have a team of experts that you can learn from to help you grow your business?

You love being in business for yourself.  But that does not mean you have to be in business by yourself?   Would you like to have a team who has been down this road and knows the traps and what they can cost you?   How would  it change your business if had  a team who would guide you down this road who has years of experience and wisdom?  Knowing you don’t have to make the mistakes that others have before you.   Doing the right things in the right ways and getting better results than you would have alone. Do you have that team put together?

8. When was the last time you enjoyed a day growing your business?

Are you working harder and harder and working for less and less?  How would you like to get back to the point where you loved being in business and take the pressure off of where you are going to find your next client?  You can love what you do and know what needs to be done as well.  Do you?

So many times we don’t need other business to have competition, all we need is to do the wrong things and we shove our clients into the arms of others.
